Welcome to the website of the Whitburn Neighbourhood Forum
Whitburn Neighbourhood Forum was designated in 2017 with the aim of promoting the social, environmental, and economic well-being of the Whitburn area in South Tyneside. We are a formally recognised group led by local residents, dedicated to shaping the future of our community.
The Forum has the authority to develop a neighbourhood plan, which sets out legally binding rules that guide new developments in the Whitburn area. The Whitburn Neighbourhood Plan, adopted in 2022, is an important document that helps us ensure development meets the needs of local residents and preserves the unique character of Whitburn.
